Tell Me More About The Retreat

There is something about the changing of seasons that calls us home.

As summer begins to soften into autumn, the natural world offers a quiet invitation to slow down, reflect, and realign.

Your True North is that quiet knowing within.

It is the inner compass that gently guides you back to your most authentic self, beneath the noise, the expectations, and the endless demands of daily life.

Join us for the 5th Annual True North Retreat, a day of practice, presence, and connection on the serene shores of Perch Lake, nestled within the beautiful Homstend Park Lands just outside Hudson, Wisconsin.

Surrounded by forest, water, and the subtle beauty of early autumn, you'll experience thoughtfully curated practices designed to regulate the nervous system, reconnect you with your body, and cultivate a deeper sense of clarity and belonging.

Move through a grounding Connect with the Elements Slow Flow Yoga Practice, exploring the wisdom of earth, water, fire, air, and ether as mirrors for your own inner landscape.

Create a nature ART mandala from the gifts of the forest and engage in guided journaling to deepen your reflection and intention.

Enjoy a mindful lunch by the lake before settling into a nourishing Restorative Yin Yoga practice that invites the body to soften and the mind to become still.

During free time, wander the trails, paddle board across the quiet lake, or simply rest beneath the trees and allow nature to hold you.

As the day draws to a close, immerse yourself in a deeply restorative Sound Bath and Guided Meditation, followed by a closing circle where community, presence, and shared humanity come together.

This retreat is an invitation to pause before the busyness of fall.

To breathe.

To listen.

To remember the direction your own inner compass has been pointing all along.

Nature Art Mandala Workshop

Drawing on the yogic principle of Aparigraha (non-attachment), we'll mindfully gather natural objects that have already been released by the mother earth.

Fallen leaves, stones, pinecones, branches, and other seasonal offerings.

Using these elements, you'll create a personal mandala as a quiet practice of observation rather than performance. There is nothing to achieve and nothing to make "beautiful."

The invitation is simply to notice what draws your attention and what it might reveal.

Afterward, we'll spend time allowing ourselves to be seen through what we created with out explaining. From here we move to guided journaling before returning the mandalas to the earth, honoring the cyclical nature of change and the practice of letting go.

A simple, grounding experience in presence, perspective, release and coming back to your own True North.
